The Incredible Dr. Pol
Dr. Pol, Veterinarian and star of the hit T.V. series on National Geographic Wild, will be presenting his new book Never Turn Your Back on an Angus Cow: My Life as a Country Vet. Everyone is welcome! Refreshments will be provided by GFWC - Heart of the Lakes, Mecosta.

Chocolate and Champagne Gala
Sparkling champagne and grape juice, mimosas, and specialty chocolates will be available as you shop the silent action, attend the live auction and enjoy music. All proceeds of this event will supplement the book collection and provide services for the residents of the eastern Mecosta County area. This is a major fundraiser for the library and should be a festive evening for all. Tickets are $20.00 in advance or $25.00 at the door and are available at the library or Flair for Hair in the Canadian Lakes Plaza.

GEM Theatrics presents My Dearest Friend: A True Love Story
A two character play chronicles the true love story of the lives of John and Abigail Adams. Author Mary G. Kron has created a touching flashback of the high points of their life together through the American Revolution and beyond.

After-Hours Party - Teen Summer Reading Program
For 'tweens and teens entering 5th -12th grades. After the library closes, the teens take over! There will be food, board games, Wii games, crafts, music, a movie and more. Teens attending the party must be registered summer reading participants.
