I Take My Pen In Hand: Soldiers' Diaries and Letters presented by Reenactor Rob Stone
With great attention to detail and a deep knowledge of American social and military history, Civil War reenactor Rob Stone portrays a Yankee (Federal) infantryman for the entirety of his presentation on the diaries of Civil War soldiers. Soldiers recorded their hopes, adventures, and fears in their diaries, and exchanged many letters home. Learn how these writings was a key to maintaining morale both at home and on the front lines.
